This stunning damascus karambit is perfect for any collector. The damascus steel and the smooth bone handle scales set this karambit apart, it also comes with a carefully detailed leather Sheath. The blade is hand forged and combined with the bone handle makes each piece unique.
The blade is formed by using several metal billets of differing composition that are forge welded together and twisted and manipulated to form a pattern. The pattern is brought out by acid etching the blade which affects each steel differently, leading to the pattern. The blade is double edged.
The karambit is full tang and the two handle scales are bone with brass pins and lining. The bolster and ring are additional damascus sections with a raindrop pattern.
Being carbon steels used you get a superior edge but need to look after it as it is prone to rust. Keep the steel dry and clean the blade regularly. To prevent moisture contacting the blade use an oil, wax or grease, this prevents corrosion and rust. When storing the blade keep it outside the leather sheath as this can affect the steel.
